Jersey Boys in Memphis

Ten Feet Off Beale - Jersey Boys in Memphis

As a Jersey Girl, I was very excited when Jeremy told me he got us tickets to see Jersey Boys at the Orpheum, the gorgeous theater right in the heart of downtown Memphis. I had never seen this show before, but I'd heard so many good things about it. It tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with, of course, lots of singing and dancing.

It was absolutely phenomenal! The New Jersey accents were spot on and I especially loved the subtle New Jersey references.

andddd bonus.. our seats were toward the back of the orchestra section, well, during intermission, Jeremy ran into someone he knew anddd they happened to have two empty seats next to them. These seats were in the second row. We were literally in the orchestra pit (the actors played all the instruments so there was no orchestra). It was so much fun being so close!!

Anyway,s if you have the opportunity to see this show, you definitely should... seriously.

Have you ever seen this show? Do you have a favorite play or musical?

PS. Thanks, Angela for the tickets!!

  1. I've heard nothing but good things about Jersey Boys, but I've never seen it. However, I have seen Wicked so many times it's embarrassing...
